Monday, December 7 was the deadline for enrolling or making changes in Medicare Plans.1
Assuming you are already enrolled in Medicare, letting the date pass kept you in your current plan until the next enrollment period. However, what if you made a selection for your Advantage Plan and realized it isn’t a good match for you and your needs? There is an opportunity just around the corner for changing to another Advantage Plan or switching to Original Medicare (Parts A & B) along with a Part D prescription plan. That window is open between January 1-March 31, 2021.1
If you’d like to ask me questions about your Medicare changes in relation to your overall financial strategy, I welcome you to reach out. I may be able to provide some guidance or help identify some additional information.
