Did you know that May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month? This year, we invite you to join us in celebrating the often-overlooked contributions of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans to this great nation.
Whether we recognize their long-standing support of U.S. civil rights or their deeply felt cultural contributions to everyday life, America owes much to its Asian American and Pacific Islander citizens.
This month let the words of Yuri Kochiyama, who dedicated her life to the fight for human rights and justice, remind us that “Life is the input of everyone who touched your life and every experience that entered it. We are all part of one another."1
